Kavarna. The US citizen Ashrita Furman (52) made a new Guiness world record on Kaliakra Cape, municipality of Kavarna reports for FOCUS Agency. The American made 1,330 forward rolls from 990 possible. The setting of the record took him one hour and he made them on a distance of 2,400 m. This is the first record of the American in Bulgaria. He chose Kaliakra Cape because he used to make records on important places in the world – the pyramids in Egypt, the Kremlin and the Great Chinese Wall. When he heard the history of Kaliakra he decided to make his next record there. Ashrita Furman has made many records in Guiness book – the total of 137 and the first one was made in 1979.
