Plovdiv Airport is scheduled to have a new passanger terminal,
the airport director Yanko Yankov. The new terminal is going to meet
all international standards. Its capacity will be processing 500 people
in 2 hours - a time to process one departing and one arriving plane. It
is nothing fancy compared to other international airports in European
cities but it is definitely a start everyone is looking forward to.
The
investment is about 20 milion BGN. Since yesterday, Plovdiv Airport JSC
has also been combining the state companies managing the Varna,
Bourgass and Turgovishte airports.
