Yet Stara Zagora to Have Its Mall

The Bulgarian joint-stock company with international share "Agrosun" is awaiting to be announced a winner in the tender for building a mall in the central city of Stara Zagora.

On December 29 2006, the Supreme Administrative Court decreed that the city's authorities had to publicly announce that "Agrosun" won the tender.

The obligatory instructions of the Court, however, have not been observed yet.

Meanwhile, the Municipal Council proposed that the whole tender procedure should be canceled, which does not serve any party's interests.

The financial offer of "Agrosun" Company is higher than the other one received by 62%.

"We hope that the Municipal Council will finally make the right decision at its sitting on Thursday," the company's Chairman of the Board of Managers Oded Lev said at a press conference in Platinum Business Center on Wednesday.

After the realization of the project, about 700 new work places will be opened.

"Agrosun" is one of the biggest investors in different spheres of Bulgarian economy in the past 14 years.
